P45T Headlight Bulbs? Can we help? [5/9/2011]
If you run a 50's, 60's or 70's classic car, you may have had an issue sourcing the now obsolete headlamp bulbs which use a P45T style base. These bulbs were common on Austin, Austin-Healey, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Jaguar, Jensen, Mercedes, MG, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Triumph, Volkswagen Beetle and Volvo of the era.
If you would like to fit a pair of our modern and uprated P43T halogen bulbs, we can now supply P45T to P43T fitting rings. These will allow your classic car to use our modern head lamp bulbs! You can choose to add them on each page where you are purchasing bulbs.
Keep a look out on our cards and leaflets for our QR Code. A QR Code allows smartphone users to quickly scan a code and view the hidden link, text or image. This will allow you to quickly show people our website if you have one of our cards or leaflets handy. All that's needed is an appropriate app, and you can find free ones by clicking here. Coloured light protection film changes [26/7/2011]
Due to customer feedback and some testing we have reduced the thickness of our coloured light protection film from 0.432mm to 0.4mm, this really does make a significant enough difference to aid fitment, making it easier to install and still offering great protection from road debris, stones, chips, grit. You may still receive our older version while we run through currently manufactured product.

Royal mail postal increases [4/4/2011]
As of today 4/4/2011 Royal mail have increased their pricing for all despatch methods we use. We are NOT increasing our prices as yet, we are going to give our customers a months break and during this time we are revising our pricing. So a small increase will occur on 4/5/2011.
Please do be assured that we try to keep despatch costs down to a minimum, and remember that our costs include a quality, speedy and efficient service. Our postal tubes are of very good quality and they are 100% recyclable! It's also worth noting that any postal costs include the applicator and a trimming implement (if chosen at time of purchase)

Badly designed speed bumps. [18/9/2010]
The Lamin-X.co.uk company car dislikes speed bumps,
especially being a bad design for lower vehicles and where your
average vehicle doesn't have to slow down at all for them. The councils really do need a rethink on these.
2011 Possible driver/team sponsorship opportunity [8/9/2010]
In 2011 we may have some space freed up for a sponsorship deal. If we do have a sponsorship slot available, we will be looking to team up with a driver or race team who will have extensive television coverage throughout 2011.
Whether you simply need product or require funding in exchange for vehicle livery, feel free to send us a prospectus of costs and possible livery/graphics which can be applied to your race car. We can't promise anything just yet as our current sponsored teams and drivers do have priority. We will take into account past driver history, results, potential and be happy to work with anyone who we feel will be of benefit to us so that we can be of benefit to you.
Clear light protection at double the thickness? [1/9/2010]
We already supply a 40mils version (Double thickness) of our Clear light protection film to the motorsport industry, but would you, the general public also like the chance to purchase it through our website?

At Lamin-X.co.uk we hate the badly damaged roads as much as anyone else. Our company car has to deal with some quite horrendous roads on a day to day basis. What can we all do about it?
