Our clear and tinted headlight protection films are used throughout the world in motorsport. Developed for and used by many race series and race teams with great success (Lemans, Britcar, Wtcc and more) the products are also used by those who partake in track days and grass roots racing.
Initially developed for the prevention of cracked, stone chipped headlights, spot lights, fog lamps on Lemans race cars while minimising on track debris and also to distinguish between race classes by the means of different colours.
Our headlight protection film is a is a cushioned polymer vinyl which is 0.5mm thick, with built in UV inhibitors and retains a high tensile strength of 3400-3800 psi. With a melting point of 300dF (Less than 1.5% shrinkage @ 50 dC 10 min test method) and holding sustained properties at minus 35dC, long term fitment through all weathers is handled easily.
